The urban zone of Peschici is positioned on the summit (and along the western slope) of an imposing karst-cliff that, raising itself for more than one hundred meters on the Adriatic Sea, dominates an enchanting bay, among the more photographed of Europe.
The historical nucleus of the country, still intact, it climbs from the tourist port up to the fortifications of the castle Swabian.
The urban zone introduces a tangled morphology, made of alleys, small hidden plazas, cohorts, steep stairways, narrow passages, arcs and above all of white residences, typical of the architecture of the Apulian coast. Along the coast there are stately promontories, often crossed by systems of sea caves and inlets of rare beauty, often almost inaccessible.
